The 1629 Restaurant in Lossiemouth has firmly established itself over the years as Moray's favourite eating place. The food ranges from classical French and Italian dishes to succulent steaks and seafood specialities. With a wealth of history and a superb reputation behind it, the 1629 is full of character and surprises, and welcomes regular guests and friends who dine with us all the time..
The food at the 1629 is superb whether it be the rich marine harvest from the Moray Coast, venison and lamb from the hill, or beef from the rich pastures of Aberdeenshire. Try the popular evening supper menu, available daily, or the Continental seafood a la carte. There is a traditional Sunday Lunch, which has become deservedly popular, whether taken before or after a fine walk along the beautiful sandy beaches nearby.
The 1629 has also developed an expertise for outside catering, private functions, weddings, bus parties etc.
La Caverna Continental café Bar and Bistro where delicious food at value-for money prices awaits you. Housed within an original 17th Century stone salt cellar, La Caverna has firmly established itself as the family's favourite destination for a day out in Lossiemouth - children are especially welcome.
La Caverna has teas, coffees (Cappucino/Espresso), cakes, scones and tastey sweets with cream; or try the pizzeria section with canneloni and lasagne; the grill section with steaks and fish dishes; or specialities of the day which can be read on the blackboard. Vegetarian Dishes are available, and there is a children's menu. Enjoy a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with your meal.

Welcome to the most northerly Royal Naval Association branch and social club.
Situated in the picturesque harbour town of Lossiemouth, most ex Naval Forces will associate Lossiemouth with the Royal Naval Air Station H.M.S. Fulmar.
Now RAF Lossiemouth, the largest fast jet base in the United Kingdom operating mainly Tornado GR4'S. It is host to many different aircraft types from air forces across the world, making Lossiemouth one of the top military aircraft spotting destinations in Europe.
Occupying a corner site on the junction of Commerce Street and King Street the club premises are of traditional sandstone and slate and modern block construction. An impressive two storey building, the club Standard flies proudly from the flagstaff on the south east corner.
The main entrance on Commerce Street is split level, down to the ground floor and the spacious main bar with pool table, darts, and fruit machines, then on to the quiet lounge.
Upstairs is the main function hall with a bar and lounge area and adjacent catering facilities. The upstairs lounge offers spectacular views across the Moray Firth to the mountains of Sutherland and beyond.
With the approval of the committee members may, for a nominal fee hire the club facilities for private functions such as receptions, birthday and anniversary parties.
